CNC Foam Cutter
Foam cutting is a CNC machining process. A tool (for example hot-wire) is used to cut several types of Polystyrene foam and other matherials. This type of cutting leaves a smooth cut because the material vaporizes before the wire touches the materials surface. The cuts may be limited by the tool used.
There are tow types of hot-wire cutters:
1. Preformed wire
2. Tensioned wire
